Holbrook headshot 1

I grew up on a farm in Bethel, CT. I attended Davidson College where I studied English & History. I know Steph Curry (sort of). After finishing Davidson I received my MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary and worked for Campus Outreach Student Ministry for 16 years before moving to Fairfield. My marriage to Lauren is my greatest accomplishment and my 3 children (Haddie 11/8/11, Evelynn 10/14/13, and Aliza 2/24/20) are my greatest joy! We're excited to be back in CT and sharing the love of Christ with everyone we meet.

 Milas Headshot 2

Originally from Charlotte, NC I grew up loving all things Hornets, Panthers, and Braves and as much as I love New England, I don't think my sports alliances will switch over any time soon. I married my wife, Ashley, in 2012 and we have 3 young children, Micah, Selah, and Isaiah (Izzy). We love living in Connecticut with all it has to offer, from the shoreline to the lakes, and the mountains. I enjoy engaging those around me with the love of Christ and helping others see how the Christian faith impacts all of life, not just how we spend our Sunday mornings.

Milas Shepherd, Assistant Pastor & Director of University Ministries

I grew up in Philadelphia enjoying the best cheesesteaks, water ice, and summers at the swim club.  I graduated from Davidson College with a degree in History and worked for Bank of America in Charlotte, NC for 10 years as a change manager & consultant.  I currently resource the ministries at Christ Presbyterian Church and serve as an executive and career coach (Fielding University '20). I love hearing people's stories and helping them navigate career decisions.  I am married to Craig, another pastor in our church planting network, and am stepmom to Charlotte, Julian & Eli.

Allison Matlack Luekens, Resource Director

I am a director, storyteller, and composer. I am classically trained (MM, ‘15, Carnegie Mellon) and theologically educated (‘18–present, RTS NYC). My highest calling is to cultivate wonder and gratitude for the word and worship of God. I specialize in the study and setting of Psalms for contemporary worship. Currently, my favorite artists include Arvo Pärt, George MacDonald, Anaïs Mitchell, Wendell Kimbrough, and Son Lux. My wife Megan and I enjoy Connecticut especially for its parks and hiking trails.

Matt Korman, Campus Outreach Staff

Growing up in central Pennsylvania, I learned to love Christ, the church, and Penn State football. I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2018 and worked in Christian education until 2021. I’m married to Tyler and we still claim newlywed status. Some of our favorite things in Connecticut are the beaches and parks, New Haven pizza, and the community that God has placed us in—even better is when all three of those things coincide! I love bringing people together to experience the love of Christ with each other.
