Winnie-the-Pooh famously said, "I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.” Something in all of us craves the kind of community that we dream about. But such relationships only come when we drop our self-orientation and begin to love each other. The Bible uses images like a body, a family, a building, a priesthood or a citizenship to describe the potential of a Christ-centered community. We like to imagine becoming part of the greatest team with the greatest potential, working hard for the greatest purpose on earth.

We believe God's people are the hands and feet of Christ. Thus, we cannot grow spiritually in a truly biblical way if we are living in isolation. Neither can we say we are flourishing if our brother or sister in Christ is suffering. Bound together within God's family, we are brought into new relationships where sacrifice is freedom and giving to others is where we find life.  Please check out the many ways we are trying to grow in love together, and come join the team!
